Deck Collapses as U.S. Marshals Serve Warrant on Missouri Sex Offender
Several members of a U.S. Marshals task force were injured after an elevated deck collapsed while they were serving an arrest warrant at a home in Missouri. Newly released body-camera footage shows officers gathered at the rear of the house before the structure suddenly gave way, sending them to the ground. The Marshals Service said the injured personnel are recovering, although some may experience longer-term effects. The suspect, 26-year-old Jacob Alexander Munoz, was later arrested for allegedly failing to comply with sex-offender registration requirements.
