Anioma Watch Inaugurates New Executives, Pledges Community Development

I welcomed members, stakeholders and guests to the inauguration of Anioma Watch Association’s new executive officers in Asaba, Delta State. The association says it was founded in 2022 to promote Anioma interests, preserve cultural heritage and strengthen unity among Anioma people at home and abroad. I highlighted some of the association’s past initiatives, including the Anioma Legacy Lecture, anti-drug abuse campaigns in secondary schools and antenatal outreach programmes for expectant mothers in five communities. I said these efforts reflect a commitment to advocacy, humanitarian service and community development. I charged the new executives to lead with integrity, transparency, humility and accountability. I also urged members across Enuani, Ika and Ndokwa to support the new leadership, promote unity and contribute to a stronger Anioma voice.
