Oyo Police Arrest Two for Exhuming Human Skull from Muslim Cemetery
The Oyo State Police Command has arrested two men for alleged unlawful possession of a human skull. Acting on credible intelligence, the Commissioner of Police directed a joint operation with the Amotekun Corps. Officers arrested Shittu Isah in Kajola Area, Ijio, and recovered the suspected skull as evidence. Under interrogation, Isah confessed to exhuming the skull from a Muslim burial ground. He also implicated a second suspect, Tunde Ajibade, who is now assisting police investigations. The exhibit has been preserved for forensic examination. Investigators are now working to establish the motive and identify any other individuals connected to the crime.
