Police Rescue 16-Year-Old Boy Allegedly Abducted in Enugu, Abandoned in Onitsha
Anambra police have rescued 16-year-old Favour Ayogu, who was allegedly abducted in Igboeze South Local Government Area of Enugu State and later abandoned near a security checkpoint in Onitsha on September 13. A joint patrol team at Ekene Junction on Oguta Road reportedly found the teenager after unidentified persons dropped him from a black Toyota Highlander near the checkpoint. The command says it has increased surveillance and intelligence operations to identify and arrest those responsible. It also asked residents of Igboeze South and Ibagwa-Aka with useful information that could help locate the boy's family to contact the nearest police station.
