Katsina Takes Over Youth Innovation Tech Hub for Skills and Entrepreneurship Training
Katsina State has formally taken over the Adolescent and Young People Innovation Tech Hub from the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria. The 12-room facility is expected to train young people in ICT, web design, content creation, beauty technology, entrepreneurship and other vocational skills. It will also provide mentorship and psychosocial support. Governor Dikko Umar Radda said the hub supports the state’s youth empowerment and human capital development plans. He added that more than 1,200 young people have already benefited from skills and apprenticeship programmes at the Katsina Youth Craft Village. The state government says it will sustain the hub and work with development partners to expand its reach.
