Open Letter to Seyi Tinubu: A Call to Hear Nigerians’ Concerns
Dear Seyi Tinubu, I write in peace and with respect. I have met your father and have also worshipped in the same church setting as your mother. I am speaking as a concerned Nigerian, not as someone seeking favour. I believe many Nigerians are unhappy with President Bola Tinubu’s administration over hardship, insecurity and the rising cost of living. People are hungry, frustrated and afraid about the future. I share these concerns. I fear that any attempt to undermine the credibility of the 2027 presidential election could deepen public anger and lead to unrest. The government must listen to citizens and address their welfare and security. Nigeria’s high maternal mortality rate is also a serious warning sign. Recent UN and WHO-backed estimates place the country’s maternal mortality ratio between 814 and 1,047 deaths per 100,000 live births. I believe honest feedback and urgent action can help prevent a deeper national crisis.
