Former Kano Commissioner Mansur Ahmed Resigns from APC
Mansur Ahmed, a former Kano State Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport and an ally of Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has resigned from the All Progressives Congress. Ahmed submitted his resignation letter to the APC chairman in Yakasai Ward, Kano Municipal Local Government Area. He said the decision followed consultations with his political associates over the state of affairs in the party. The former commissioner said he intends to join another political platform focused on protecting lives and property and improving citizens’ welfare. His resignation comes days after former Nigerian Ports Authority managing director Aminu Dabo also left the APC.
