Ejiofor Demands Probe Into Reported Killing of Family of Six in Ibadan
Human rights lawyer Ifeanyi Ejiofor has called on the Federal Government and security agencies to investigate the reported killing of Ephraim Chukwu, his wife and their four children in Ibadan, Oyo State. He urged authorities to identify, arrest and prosecute anyone responsible. He also called for action against credible cases of ethnic incitement and threats of violence. Ejiofor warned that ethnic hostility, hate speech and political polarisation could worsen insecurity ahead of the 2027 general elections. He said every Nigerian should be able to live and work safely in any part of the country, regardless of ethnic background.
