Palmpay Under Fire: Customers Demand Refund of Over ₦300,000

Two Palmpay users have taken to social media accusing the fintech company of withholding their funds. Omega Peter says he has been waiting for over ₦158,000 and has received no clear response despite repeated follow-ups. In a public post he wrote, “You guys should refund my 158k – your customer care keeps ignoring me! Fool$.” Another customer, Oluwaseun, claims Palmpay has held onto ₦163,000 since February 18, 2025, even after sharing proof from Interswitch that the money was refunded. Both users are calling on Palmpay to resolve these cases immediately and warn others to stay vigilant when using the app.
