Obi said the funds will buy five new dental chairs. He lamented that politicians spend lavishly on cars while students lack basic educational tools. "We must invest in measurable areas like education, health, and poverty reduction," he added.

He stressed that governance should focus on people’s needs. Obi recalled his own humble beginnings and urged leaders to address food security, schooling, and healthcare rather than immediately talking about 2027. He reaffirmed his intention to contest in 2027.

The policy appears in a new Non-State Schools document launched last week by the Federal Ministry of Education. It outlines age requirements from Nursery One through JSS1.
