Borussia Dortmund reached the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since 2021 after Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus goals eliminated PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday.

One of the major concerns facing the city hosts is the stadium issue. This issue is, of course, that crowds and audiences have largely curtailed due to ongoing global limitations. While the UK itself is relaxing measures at the time of writing, other countries in Europe are not.
Both France and Germany, for example, are tightening up once more. Could this make Euro 2021 look quite different to plans put into action?
It is entirely possible. Even at this late stage, however, there’s much speculation. With the Olympic Games barring international audiences, UEFA does not seem to foresee a similar lockdown.
In which case, should countries refuse to allow fans in, UEFA may indeed re-allocate its games. There is remarkable confidence at this point, in any case, that things will stay as-is.

Will Euro 2024 Move Again?
One thing is relatively clear, at least – that the Euros will not move again. With the football world cup due next year, arranging both festivals in one year would be challenging.
On top of this, footballers and fans are keen to get back into the sport as soon as possible. Following a challenging year, many hope that Euro 2024 will signal the start of the “new normal” for sports.

According to Saudi media reports, Al Hilal has officially sent a letter to the Saudi Professional League Association requesting not to postpone their match against Al Nassr.

The current Guinness World Record, held by Hallvard Haug Flatebø and Sjur Ferkingstad of Norway on November 11, 2018, stands at 56 hours, 9 minutes, and 37 seconds.

Official sources confirm that the dispute over unpaid wages between Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus has been resolved, with the latter being ordered to pay a portion of the outstanding salary.

The court partly supported Ronaldo's claims but also determined that both parties shared equal responsibility in this matter. Consequently, Juventus is required to compensate for approximately half of the salary Ronaldo sought in the lawsuit. The court ruling is as follows:

Based on the "extremely categorical" request made by Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro and the reasons stated in the pleadings, determining the defendant's prior obligations, considering the contributory negligence of the plaintiff, Juventus Football Club S.p.A. is ordered to pay €9,774,166.66 to Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, along with statutory interest on the outstanding balance from the due date and the yearly balance of revaluation.

2. In addition to the costs already settled by the Arbitration Commission during the lawsuit, both parties are mutually liable for the full reimbursement of legal expenses, with each party bearing 50% of the costs. The majority decision to this effect was made by the arbitrators during individual meetings held in Milan on February 15, February 22, March 7, and April 10, 2024. Only arbitrator Professor Roberto Saki dissented from the decision.
