I believe that in 2026 our Lord Jesus Christ will be revealed and bring an end to the Great Tribulation. This prophecy is rooted in 2 Thessalonians 2, where Paul assures believers that the day of the Lord will not arrive until the “man of sin” is revealed and a great falling away occurs.

Paul urges us not to be shaken by rumors or false letters claiming that Christ’s return is imminent. He reminds us that certain events must precede that day, and we are to stand firm in faith until God’s appointed time.

As we watch world events unfold, let us hold fast to these words and maintain hope. Christ’s coming will usher in final restoration and victory for all who trust in Him.

That is exactly what happened near Nag Hammadi in Upper Egypt. Scribes wrapped these manuscripts in leather, sealed them in clay jars, and carried them to remote caves at the foot of Jabal al-Ṭārif. There they lay undisturbed for more than sixteen hundred years.
