The Anambra State Police Command has welcomed a multi-agency Police Recruitment Team. It includes officials from the Police High Command, the Police Service Commission, the Federal Character Commission, the Federal Ministry of Police Affairs and other stakeholders. They will oversee the physical and credential screening for prospective officers.

The exercise runs daily from March 9 to April 18, 2026, at the Anambra State Police Headquarters in Amawbia. Shortlisted candidates must attend on their scheduled dates with original credentials and all required documents.

Police Spokesman SP Ikenga Tochukwu urged candidates to follow the screening guidelines and cooperate fully with officials. He also reminded everyone that the screening is completely free and no fees are required.
