Eguavoen Names Super Falcons Squad for LA 2028 Olympic Qualifier Against Comoros

Interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen has named a 28-player Super Falcons squad for Nigeria’s Los Angeles 2028 Olympic qualifying tie against Comoros. Captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, defenders Michelle Alozie and Ashley Plumptre, midfielders Toni Payne and Jennifer Echegini, and forwards Asisat Oshoala, Gift Monday and Uchenna Kanu are included. The team will report to camp in Ijebu-Ode on 3 October. Comoros will host the first leg on 9 October, while Nigeria will host the return leg on 13 October at the Remo Stars Sports Stadium in Ikenne-Remo. Nigeria need an aggregate win to advance to the third round of the qualifying campaign.
