Taraba Attack: Senators Demand Arrest of Killers as 26 Die in Binari

The Northern Senators Forum has called for a thorough investigation and the prosecution of those behind an attack that killed at least 26 people in Binari community, Karim-Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State. The attack reportedly happened shortly after Friday prayers. Victims included worshippers, women, children and members of a local vigilante group. The senators urged security agencies to strengthen operations in Karim-Lamido and nearby communities. They also called for a Forward Operating Base, intelligence-led patrols along the Kompany-Asusar route and the River Benue corridor, as well as urgent relief for affected families.
