Ajebutter22 Says Lagos Is Far Harder to Live in Than It Was 10 Years Ago

Nigerian singer Ajebutter22 has said Lagos has become much harder to live in than it was 10 years ago. In a video shared online, he described the city as a “big bad world” and said he would prefer to return to the Lagos of a decade ago. He noted that life was already difficult then, but everyday costs have risen sharply. Ajebutter22 recalled that drinks he once bought for about ₦5,000 now cost far more. He also claimed that many residents are leaving Lagos because of the pressure of living in the city.
