Nigerian Defender Chukwuma Eze Joins Villarreal B on Season-Long Loan
Nigerian centre-back Chukwuma Eze has joined Villarreal B on a season-long loan from Real Oviedo for the 2026/27 campaign. The 22-year-old arrived at Oviedo from Ajuwa Academy in 2021 and progressed through the club’s youth ranks. He has also gained experience on loan at CD Llanes, L’Entregu CF and Real Avilés. Eze made 18 appearances for Real Avilés last season and recently extended his Oviedo contract until 2029. After making his senior debut for Oviedo against Levante in April 2025, he will now aim to secure regular football and strengthen Villarreal B’s defence.
