Army Rescues Seven Farmers, Recovers Motorcycles in Sokoto’s Gandi Community

Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma in Gandi community, Rabah LGA of Sokoto state, launched a swift response after bandits attacked local farmers. They successfully rescued seven farmers and recovered several motorcycles taken by the attackers. The operation by the 8 Division of the Nigerian Army led to an encounter that left one civilian with a gunshot wound. The injured victim was treated at Gandi General Hospital.
