Emily Willis’ Family Settles Rehab Negligence Suit for $3 Million
Emily Willis’ family has reached a $3 million settlement with a Malibu rehabilitation facility over allegations that inadequate care left the former adult film performer permanently disabled. Her mother and legal guardian filed the lawsuit in 2024, claiming Willis’ health rapidly declined while she was receiving treatment for ketamine addiction. Court filings alleged she became frail, disoriented and severely dehydrated before she was found unconscious in February 2024. Paramedics reportedly performed CPR for 30 to 40 minutes after she suffered cardiac arrest. The alleged prolonged oxygen deprivation caused irreversible brain damage. The facility denied wrongdoing and admitted no liability under the settlement. After legal fees and deductions, Willis is expected to receive about $1.25 million, while her mother will remain her conservator.
