Abia APC Upholds Uche Ogah’s Suspension, Calls Otti Endorsement Personal

The Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress held an emergency meeting in Umuahia to reaffirm Dr. Uche Samson Ogah’s suspension since 2022 for alleged anti-party activities. The party legal team confirmed the suspension extends from his polling unit through his ward and remains in effect. APC State Legal Adviser Barr. Virgilius Nwankwo clarified that Ogah’s public support for Governor Alex Otti’s 2027 re-election bid was a personal decision. He stressed that the party has not ratified or lifted any disciplinary action, and Ogah cannot speak or act on behalf of the APC. Party leaders, including Deputy Chairman Chief Chinedu Ihiesulo and the 17 local government chairmen, pledged unity and a commitment to uphold party discipline and constitutional provisions.
