Funke Akindele, Waje, Bisola and Chioma Release ‘Ore Mi’ for The Four
Funke Akindele has teamed up with Waje, Bisola Aiyeola and Chioma Chukwuka on “Ore Mi”, a soundtrack for her forthcoming film, The Four. The song blends English, Igbo and Yoruba to celebrate friendship, love and the bonds shared by close friends. Akindele said the collaborators wanted to create a familiar, folktale-inspired sound that tells a story through music. The release continues Akindele’s practice of pairing her films with original music. She previously worked with Falz, D’banj and other cast members on music for Everybody Loves Christmas in 2024. Teasers from The Four have also been released, building anticipation for how “Ore Mi” will feature in the movie.
