How I Moved From Nigeria to Canada Without Using an Agent

I am sharing my personal journey from deciding to study abroad to arriving in Canada. I will add pictures and videos as the thread continues. My goal is to show that it is possible to process a Canadian study permit without an agent. This is only my experience, and it does not guarantee approval or refusal for anyone else. Every application is different, and immigration officers may assess cases differently. Feel free to ask questions, but please do not request my personal details or send private messages. My journey began on 31 December 2025, about 10 years after graduating from university. In early January, I visited the immigration office in Port Harcourt to ask about getting an international passport. I was told that I needed a NIN, which I did not have at the time. At the NIN office on Aba Road, I encountered a large crowd and people selling forms that were supposed to be free. After making enquiries, I eventually completed my NIN registration, biometric capture and authentication through an official contact. I received my printed NIN the following day.
