Nigerian Air Force Opens 2026 Recruitment for Trades and Non-Trades Applicants
The Nigerian Air Force has opened applications for its 2026 Basic Military Training Course 47 recruitment exercise. The free online registration runs from 3 September to 14 October 2026 for eligible trades and non-trades applicants. Trades applicants must be aged 18 to 27 by 1 March 2027, while non-trades applicants must be aged 18 to 22. All applicants must be Nigerian citizens by birth, medically and physically fit, and meet the minimum height requirement of 1.66 metres for men and 1.63 metres for women. Trades applicants need relevant qualifications, including at least five credits in approved examinations with English and Mathematics. Non-trades applicants also need at least five credits, including English and Mathematics, as well as their primary school certificate and secondary school testimonial. Successful applicants will complete required consent and attestation forms before the zonal aptitude test. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview, with further updates to be communicated through the official recruitment portal.
