Dangote Says Refinery IPO Shares Could Rise From ₦525 to ₦10,000
Aliko Dangote says retail investors will receive priority allocation in the planned ₦2.15 trillion Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals IPO. Ahead of the September 14 book-building launch, he said buyers investing between ₦50,000 and ₦100,000 would be allotted shares before larger institutional investors are scaled. The offer is priced at ₦525 per share, with a minimum purchase of 10 shares worth ₦5,250. Dangote projected that the shares could eventually reach ₦10,000, while adding that investors may be able to receive dividends in naira or US dollars because of the refinery’s export revenue.
