Real Madrid and Bayern Reportedly Eye Aston Villa’s Zion Suzuki
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are reportedly monitoring Aston Villa goalkeeper Zion Suzuki after his strong start to the 2026/27 season. The 24-year-old Japan international joined Villa from Parma in August for a reported €35 million and was signed as a long-term successor to Emiliano Martínez. Suzuki has recorded a 76.3% save rate in the Premier League. He also made five saves in Villa’s Champions League match against Barcelona on November 3. Villa have him under contract until June 2031. Reports suggest a transfer could require a fee above the world-record amount Chelsea paid for Kepa Arrizabalaga in 2018.
