Couple Found Dead in Bronx Apartment in Suspected Murder-Suicide

A 37-year-old woman, Andrea Cantarini, and her 38-year-old boyfriend were found with fatal gunshot wounds in her Bronx apartment around 9 p.m. Tuesday, police said. Investigators suspect the boyfriend shot Cantarini before taking his own life, but his identity had not been released pending notification of his family. Police responded after Cantarini’s father called to report that her boyfriend was trying to kill her. A gun was recovered at the scene.
