ADC May Add Aregbesola, Abdullahi to Atiku Campaign Council

The African Democratic Congress may issue a supplementary list for its presidential campaign council after key party officials, including National Secretary Rauf Aregbesola and National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi, were absent from the initial announcement. Phrank Shaibu, a media aide to ADC presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, said the campaign structure was still being developed. He said consultations were ongoing and more appointments would be made as the organisation expands nationwide. The first list named Kashim Ibrahim-Imam as chairman, Nasir El-Rufai as deputy chairman, and Senator Austin Akobundu as director-general and campaign manager. Shaibu urged party members awaiting appointments to be patient, saying their contributions had not been forgotten.
