Atiku Warns of Coordinated Plot to Exclude ADC from 2027 Election

Atiku Warns of Coordinated Plot to Exclude ADC from 2027 Election

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has sounded the alarm over a coordinated attempt by elements in the ruling establishment to bar the African Democratic Congress (ADC) from next year’s polls. He disclosed in Abuja that credible intelligence points to a wave of frivolous litigations, selective administrative actions and behind-closed-door pressures aimed at sidelining his party. He challenged the All Progressives Congress over its fear of the ADC despite claiming overwhelming popularity. Atiku urged the judiciary, INEC, security agencies, civil society groups and the diplomatic community to resist external pressures and protect the sanctity of the ballot. He warned that any effort to tamper with electoral participation would be one of the gravest assaults on Nigeria’s constitutional democracy.

Stakeholders should demand transparent intelligence briefings and insist on legal scrutiny before accepting claims that could exclude any party.
