I am currently using a UBA dollar master card, but each time I try to boost my post on my business page on facebook and IG, it doesn't work. I keep getting an error message that, Meta cannot extract funds from the card. 

This issue has happened before when I used an FCMB naira master card and my account has been barred from running ads. I have opened a new account but it's still the same issue.

It was even because of the issue that made me get a dollar card and yet it's the same thing I am facing now. Please if anyone has a good idea on what I should do, please let me know. Adim very tired 😫

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill totaling over N3 trillion to the State House of Assembly for consideration and approval, News360 Nigeria reports.

A catastrophic boat accident occurred early Friday along the Dambo-Ebuchi stretch of the River Niger, leaving dozens feared dead and many others missing.

Eyewitnesses report that the vessel, reportedly owned by Musa Dangana, was transporting more than 200 passengers, including market vendors and farm laborers, to the Katcha weekly market when it overturned, throwing everyone on board into the river.

Local divers have been leading the rescue efforts, and so far, eight bodies have been recovered. Search operations are ongoing to locate the remaining passengers.

This incident follows a similar tragedy on October 1, 2024, when a boat capsized on the Muwo Gbajibo River in Mokwa Local Government Area, also in Niger State, claiming numerous lives.

Preliminary findings suggest that none of the passengers were wearing life jackets at the time of the accident, a factor believed to have worsened the fatalities.

While authorities have yet to issue an official statement, an investigation into the cause of the accident is anticipated.

“U.S. ambassadors serve at the pleasure of the President, and with the recent election in the U.S., the American people have expressed their choice for the future direction of our country, reflecting our shared commitment to democratic principles.”

EDITORIAL.Posterity Beckons: Soludo, Pay ABS Retirees Now

As we reflect on the plight of retirees from the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), we are reminded of the poignant phrase: "The labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain." 

Yet, many ABS retirees are still waiting to receive their retirement benefits after years of meritorious service.

Former Governor Willie Obiano's decision to pay the gratuity of ABS retirees dating back over 25 years was commendable.

However, since the last payment in 2017, the gratuities have built up again, leaving many retirees in limbo.

We urge Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo to consider paying the gratuities on compassionate grounds. 

Given his commitment to workers' welfare, evident in the approval of a N70,000 minimum wage for Anambra workers, we believe he will recognize the plight of ABS retirees. 

Notably, Soludo has reasonably defrayed the retirement benefits of other workers he inherited; ABS workers should not be left out.

The delay in payment is not only a financial burden but also a psychological trauma. 

We have seen the devastating impact, with retirees like Nnalue Onuorah from Nsugbe passing away without receiving their gratuity.

We call on Governor Soludo to take immediate action to address this anomaly. 

By prioritizing the payment of ABS retirees' gratuities, the Anambra State Government can demonstrate its commitment to workers' welfare, past and present.

Ukwuani, Ika of Delta State says there are not Igbo so be it, the only part of Anioma that are pro Igbo is the Aniochas or you can call them Enuani that is the Asaba axis
Our ancestors lived and died as Ukwuani and never Igbo and as a matter of Fact we have Igbo quarter, Yoruba quarter, Hausa quarter and even Ghana quarter in Obiaruku my hometown till date, these are areas that are predominantly dominated by these people. The Igbos have always being strangers in our land and are categorised among strangers till tomorrow.
So why force your identity on us. Why should we be called Igbos all of a sudden why not Igbos being called Ukwuani or is it because Igbo are more populated therefore we should be incorporated into them, Bullshit

Today, ask God to show you where to plant your seed. Make sure you are sowing in the right ground and tending to the seed He has given you. Remember, God has a good plan for your future. He has plans to bless you and increase you. Today, you have what it takes to move forward and receive the blessing He has prepared for you!

The Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Media and Public Affairs, Temitope Ajayi, has taken to X to react to the interview granted by Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State last night on Channels Television.

Temitope Ajayi , said that contrary to Governor Zulum’s claim that some agencies of the government would be scrapped if the bill is passed, no such proposition is contained in the bill. Ajayi accused Zulum of misleading the public. He stated that no part of the bill recommended the scrapping of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), and National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI).

He emphasized that the Tax Reform Bill, when passed, would help the economy’s growth. He advised stakeholders to withdraw from spreading misinformation about the bill.

According to a post on the official X handle of Temitope Ajayi, the President's Media Aide insisted that some of the claims by Governor Zulum about the Tax Reform Bills are not true.

"In any public debate around these four Bills before the National Assembly, there should be no place for misinformation and deliberate falsehood. It is expected that these important reform bills will generate different reactions and views but commentators and various interest groups should endeavor to keep to the facts as contained in the Bills.

I have been unable to get my son's passport printed out in UK. Used the old NIN that has a wrong D.O.B to pay for passport . I used the new NIN that has the the right details. Now it has to approved by the office in Abuja. The Uk office says they have sent it to Abuja for approval but still waiting.
