Lookman joined the Spanish club from Atalanta in January and wore No. 22 during his first six months in Madrid. He takes over No. 11 following Thiago Almada's move to River Plate. The 28-year-old previously wore No. 11 at Atalanta. He scored nine goals and made four assists in 24 appearances across all competitions during his first campaign at Atletico Madrid.
