Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has replied Davido over the upcoming Osun governorship election, saying the singer should direct his appeal to Osun voters rather than to him. Uzodimma, who chairs the APC National Campaign Council for the election, said the party would continue to seek support for its candidate, Bola Oyebamiji. He insisted that the election would be peaceful, free and credible. The governor claimed that many Osun voters were dissatisfied with Governor Ademola Adeleke’s performance and were prepared to vote for a new administration on August 15, 2026. He also told Davido to prepare for life after the election with his uncle, joking that Adeleke could join the singer’s band as a dancer if he loses.
