Many people are so stubbornly set in their ways that they refuse to acknowledge that they are on the wrong path. They would not seek help, nor change their ways. Those who would not hear the comfortable voice of God’s word shall be made to hear and experience the dreadful voice of His rod when He brings utter ruin upon them. It is indeed a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. No power in the universe can deliver out of His hands. The only way to escape is through total repentance and continual obedience to all of His will as revealed in the Holy Scriptures and taught by His ministers.

He passed away on Thursday at the age of 82 after a protracted illness.

He described the of the former Minister and Quarter Master General of the Nigerian Army as a tremendous loss not only to his immediate family but also to the Nigerian Armed Forces, Plateau State, and the entire nation.

Highlighting the roles played by the late army general, Governor Mutfwang noted that he left an indelible mark on Nigeria’s security and political landscape with his tireless efforts to promote peace and security, especially in Northern Nigeria and Plateau State.

The governor prayed that god grants the family, plateau state, and the nation the strength and fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss, and also asked for God’s divine presence to comfort and provide solace in the days ahead.

Insecurity: Man declares wife missing from hospital after she was allegedly attacked by suspected Niger Delta militants

Mr. Nnamdi Jerome Nnaji, a native of Amagunze in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu state has declared his wife, Mrs. Sandra Nnamdi Nnaji missing from a private hospital in Port Harcourt, Rivers State after she was allegedly attacked by unknown gunmen suspected to be Niger Delta militants.
He therefore cried out to authorities concerned to assist him in locating her whereabout which he said is yet to be ascertained.
In a press state statement issued to newsmen yesterday in Onutsha, Anambra state, Mr. Nnaji recalled that his wife, Sandra, a banker and an expert in fighting against early child marriage has been missing since October 13, 2024 when she was attacked in Port Harcourt, Rivers State by suspected Niger Delta militants, hospitalized and last seen, without knowing whether she fled from the hospital by herself or was actually abducted by the unknown persons.

The North-Central All Progressives, APC, Forum has renewed calls on Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang to dump the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and join the APC.

The APC Forum issued a fresh invitation to Mutfwang to join the party in a statement released after a meeting in Abuja on Saturday by its Chairman, Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga, a member of the APC presidential campaign council in the 2023 election.

The North-Central APC Forum, in the statement, urged Mutfwang to join the APC before the next congress and take up the position of the leader of the party in the state.

It would be recalled that the North-Central APC Forum had in April 2024 sent a letter to Mutfwang, formally inviting him to join the APC, shortly after the Supreme Court affirmed his election as governor of Plateau State.

The APC Forum also sent a letter to the party’s national secretariat notifying it of the decision to invite Mutfwang to join the party.

As part of the push to draft Mutfwang into the APC, the North-Central APC Forum, had in March 2024 held a closed-door meeting in Abuja with leaders and chieftains of the party in Plateau State. The meeting, convened by Chairman of the North-Central APC Forum, Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga, was convened to strategize on the plan to poach Mutfwang from the PDP.

In December 2024, there were rumours that Mutfwang has defected to the APC. The rumours followed the circulation of Mutfwang’s photograph among those of APC governors during the September 2024 governorship election in Edo State.

The Department of State Services (DSS) has filed five counts of terrorism-related charges against self-styles activist, Muhammad Mahdi Shehu at the Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna. 

The move came a day after the secret police filed a motion exparte before the same court for an order to detain Shehu for 60 days. The motion was filed pursuant to Section 66 of the Terrorism (Prevention & Prohibition) Act, 2022, 

In granting the order, Justice Rilwan Aikawa held that the DSS should keep Shehu for 60 days to enable their officers conclude investigations. 

Shehu is facing charges of, False Publication to cause public alarm contrary to Section 59 (1) of the Criminal Code Act, dissemination of Terrorism related false information contrary to Section 26 (2) (a) and (b) of the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022 and intentional dissemination of false information contrary to Section 24(1) (b) of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition and Prevention etc.) Act, 2024 (as amended);

He also being prosecuted for false allegation of Treasonable Act contrary yo Section 41 of the Criminal Code Act; and the use of Social Media to support false allegations of National Security Threat, contrary to Section 24(1) (b) of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc) Act.

I made many losses last year, so I'm trying to correct my mistakes this year. 
One of the mistake I made last year was using 12 paint rubber as 50kg bag for measurement. I observed that using 12 paint rubber will usually give 52kg, which is 2kg loss on my part. 
So, this year, I'm planning on using a scale to measure the exact 50kg. 
The problem is, most of these women, they'll tell u they prefer the 12 paint rubber. 
I don't have my own personal bags yet, so they are always there whenever I want to measure the rice. 
Pls, how do I convince them that the scale is what I prefer using.

> The Police Service Commission rose from its first extraordinary Meeting with the approval for the immediate retirement of senior Police Officers who have spent more than 35 years in service and those above 60 years of age.

The Commission at its 24th Plenary Meeting of 27th and 28th September 2017 had approved that the Force Entrants should have their date of appointment in the Force against the date of their enlistment.

The Commission has passionately revisited their decision and has come to the conclusion that the said decision in its intent and purpose contradicted the principle of merger of service in the Public service and it is in violation of Public Service Rule No 020908 ( i & ii) which provides for retirement on attainment of 35 years in service or 60 years of age.

Accordingly, the Commission at its 1st extra ordinary meeting of the 6th Management Board held today, Friday, 31st January 2025, approved the immediate retirement of those officers who have spent more than 35 years in service and those above 60 years of age.

The Commission Chairman, DIG Hashimu Argungu, rtd, mni, presided over the extraordinary Meeting and had Justice Adamu Paul Galumje, retired Justice of the Supreme Court and Hon Commissioner representing the Judiciary; DIG Taiwo Lakanu rtd, fdc, Honourable Commissioner representing the Police and Chief Onyemuchi Nnamani, Secretary to the Commission in attendance.
The Commission’s decision has been conveyed to the Inspector General of Police for implementation.

Look at history—places like Ilorin and other regions were conquered, Islamized, and ruled by emirs who were direct descendants of those who introduced Islam. And guess what? This mentality still exists today. They tried the Muslim-Muslim ticket, and it worked. Now, they are bringing Sharia law to the South-West, just like they did in Ilorin before they conquered it and installed emirs. And all the Northern Muslims are supporting the move—the same people who rejected the bill for Christian courts in 2016, labeling it a ‘recipe for anarchy.’"

Now, don’t get me wrong—I have no problem with anyone practicing their religion. Everyone has a right to worship. But when religion starts deciding leadership—when people say, "A Muslim goat is better than a Christian professor"—we have a serious problem. And we’ve seen this play out.

We ask Lord that You would pour out Your special blessing on all new mothers today and grant them wisdom and grace, patience and godly love as they begin the process of nurturing and encouraging, teaching and training their precious child.

May they grow in grace and make it a priority to place Jesus in the centre of their home-life, knowing that, when You are in Your rightful position that Your grace and blessing will flow in rich abundance.

A spokesperson for Sweden’s prosecutor’s office confirmed to CNN that Momika was shot dead in capital city Stockholm on Wednesday.

Stockholm police told CNN that five people had been arrested on Wednesday night on suspicion of murder.

Momika was on Thursday set to be handed a verdict in a trial where he was accused of incitement to racial hatred, Goran Lundahl, a lawyer for Stockholm’s District Court, told CNN. This sentencing has now been postponed.
Swedish authorities had at first attempted to prevent Momika from staging protests by denying him a police permit to demonstrate. This decision was later overturned by Stockholm’s Court of Appeals, citing freedom of speech.
