Reps Member Alleges Non-Indigenes Took Over 80% of Ebonyi FRSC Recruitment Slots
Chinedu Ogah, the lawmaker representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency, has alleged that more than 80% of candidates recruited under Ebonyi State’s quota in the ongoing FRSC exercise are not genuine indigenes of the state. He called on the FRSC Corps Marshal to review the recruitment list, alleging that some candidates used forged identification certificates to claim Ebonyi slots. Ogah said the alleged practice denies qualified Ebonyi indigenes employment opportunities and violates the federal character principle. He urged the agency to verify the candidates and replace any ineligible recruits with genuine indigenes of the state.
