Lagos Socialite ‘Agali’ Gunned Down on National Stadium Bridge
The Lagos State Police Command is investigating the fatal shooting of Adedipe Adeyinkan, known as “Agali,” on the National Stadium Bridge late Saturday night. Police say the socialite was travelling toward Iponri around 11:30pm on April 11, 2026 when unknown assailants opened fire. He was rushed to Mainland General Hospital in Yaba but died shortly after arrival. Authorities have not yet named suspects or confirmed whether the attack was a targeted hit or a robbery. They are reviewing CCTV footage and witness accounts to determine a motive. Residents have expressed alarm at the brazen attack on a busy Lagos artery and are calling for increased night patrols in the Surulere axis.
