Family Demands Justice for “Kebe” After Kwara Farmer’s Brutal Killing
The family of Abdulazeez Abubakar Abiodun, known as Kebe, is calling on security agencies, the media, human rights groups, and concerned Nigerians to investigate his murder in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State. He left home at about 7:00 a.m. on July 11 to tend his cocoa farm in Owa-Onire and never returned. Searchers found his motorcycle at the farm and later discovered his body in the bush with his hands tied. Kebe, a 57-year-old father and respected farmer, was known for his hard work and peaceful nature. The family wants police to interview anyone nearby on that day and ensure those responsible are arrested and prosecuted. The Kwara State Police Command has announced it will open an investigation. Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
