Former Manchester United Star Ryan Giggs Loses £100,000 in Failed Restaurant Venture
Former Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs lost almost £100,000 after his restaurant venture went under. Georges Dining Room and Bar in Worsley entered insolvency last year and could not meet debts of over £563,000. Financial filings show it owed taxes, bank loans and staff wages. Giggs personally lost £99,925 when the business collapsed. Liquidators confirmed there will be no dividend for creditors. Giggs had opened the restaurant in 2014 with partners Kelvin Gregory and Bernie Taylor. He has since taken part in a legends match in South Korea alongside former teammates.
