Why Africans Need STEEM for Community Liberation and Development

I argue that African liberation requires more than political awareness. It requires a return to values of Ubuntu, community responsibility and practical preparation for self-determination. I use STEEM to mean Science, Technology, Engineering, Economics and Mathematics. I believe African families, communities and institutions should guide young people towards these subjects, careers and innovations. Scholarships, grants and mentorship can help build the skills needed to solve local problems. In my view, the goal is not to copy exploitative systems or pursue wealth alone. STEEM should be applied to improve livelihoods, strengthen communities and help Africans build a more independent future. Africans must prepare their minds, reclaim humane values and work together for transformation.
