Abuja Street Drama: Man Slaps Woman After She Rejects His Advances
Onlookers in Abuja intervened after an older man reportedly slapped a young woman who refused his advances. The woman, who filmed the incident, said she was waiting for a friend and listening to music when the man approached her and tried to “know” her. When she told him “no,” the man grew angry, knocked her glasses off and hurled insults at her. A construction worker and a motorbike rider held him back while the woman continued to refuse him. The scene ended when a passerby led her away and the man left with the rider. A video of the confrontation was shared on a popular entertainment blog.
