Patrick Clancy has spoken about forgiving his former wife, Lindsay Clancy, following the deaths of their three children, Cora, Dawson and Callan, in Massachusetts in 2023. In an interview with a US television programme, he recalled hoping that their youngest child, Callan, would survive after he was taken to hospital. Callan died four days later while Patrick was beside him. Patrick said he believes severe mental illness contributed to what happened and that holding on to hatred would have consumed him. Lindsay’s trial ended in a mistrial after jurors could not agree on whether she was criminally responsible. He said his focus remains on preserving his children’s memory and drawing attention to perinatal mental health.
