APC Campaign Committee Nominee Rejects Role, Backs 2027 Candidate Who Will Restore Petrol Subsidy

Muhammad Murtala Musa D Provost has rejected his reported appointment to the APC Presidential Campaign Committee’s New Media Committee for the 2027 election. In a September 7 statement, Musa said he became aware that his name was included on a published committee list led by Dada Olusegun, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on New Media. He said he did not accept the appointment. Musa said he would support any 2027 presidential candidate who pledges to restore the petrol subsidy. He also said he would not defend politicians he holds responsible for the economic hardship facing Nigerians.
