Maduka Okoye Admits Inter Were Too Strong After Udinese’s 5-3 Defeat
Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye said Inter Milan’s relentless attack proved too much for Udinese after their 5-3 Serie A defeat at the San Siro. Udinese stunned the home side by taking a two-goal lead through James Abankwah and Jurgen Ekkelenkamp. Inter responded with goals from Carlos Augusto, Nicolò Barella, Marcus Thuram, Francesco Pio Esposito and Ange-Yoan Bonny to complete the turnaround. Okoye said Udinese created chances but could not match Inter’s intensity. Idrissa Gueye scored late for Udinese, who remain on four points before hosting Cagliari on Saturday.
