Buba Galadima Says El-Rufai Is Facing Consequences for Past Actions

Nigeria Democratic Congress chieftain Buba Galadima says former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai may be facing the consequences of actions taken while he was in office. Speaking on a television programme about El-Rufai’s detention, Galadima rejected the assumption that the case must be politically motivated because of the former governor’s political standing. He also accused the All Progressives Congress of being desperate to retain power, claiming its members fear accountability if the party loses power.
