Lagos Police Educate Ikeja Pupils on Drug Abuse, Cultism and Responsible Choices
The Lagos State Police Command, through its Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices unit, has educated about 400 pupils of Police Children School, Ikeja, on responsible behaviour and the dangers of cultism, drug abuse and other social vices. At the programme, themed “Right Choices, Great Future,” speakers urged the pupils to resist peer pressure, obey the law and speak with parents, teachers or trusted adults when facing threats or difficult experiences. A mental health expert also discussed the risks of substance abuse, while the police said the outreach is part of its effort to prevent crime through early guidance and positive value formation among young people.
