Cubarsí Calls Osimhen One of the World’s Best Strikers Ahead of Barcelona Clash
Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsí has praised Victor Osimhen ahead of Barcelona’s Champions League meeting with Galatasaray in Istanbul. The Spanish international said the Super Eagles striker remains one of the best centre-forwards in world football and will demand close attention from the entire back line. The pair previously faced each other when Barcelona eliminated Napoli in the Champions League round of 16 in March 2024. Cubarsí, then 17, impressed in that tie as Barcelona won 3-1. Osimhen heads into the fixture after returning from a groin injury. He made an assist in a brief appearance against Kasımpaşa and could play a key role as Galatasaray seek their first result of the league phase.
