The Creative Mobilization Initiative for Development has urged the Federal Government to reconsider age-related requirements for university admission. The group said students who finish secondary school early should not lose years waiting to enter higher institutions. It argued that admission should reflect academic readiness, including UTME and post-UTME performance, rather than age alone. CMID also called for guidance and counselling support for younger undergraduates. It said this would help them adapt socially and academically while protecting their welfare.
