Economist Calls for Debt Audit and Relief to Ease Nigeria’s Fiscal Burden

Economist Dr. Ernest Abegbe has urged the Federal Government to conduct an independent forensic audit of Nigeria’s domestic and external debts. He says the review should verify how each debt was authorised, used and repaid, and identify obligations that could be challenged or renegotiated.
