Yung Filly Cleared of Three Sexual-Penetration Charges, Convicted of Two Assault Counts
UK rapper and internet personality Yung Filly, whose legal name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, has been cleared of three charges of sexual penetration without consent following a trial in Western Australia. The allegations concerned a 20-year-old woman and an incident said to have occurred in a Perth hotel room after he performed at a Hillarys nightclub in 2024. The jury also found him not guilty of one assault charge and a strangulation charge. However, he was convicted of two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm. The jury could not reach verdicts on three further sexual-penetration charges, and prosecutors will decide whether to seek a retrial. He remains on bail ahead of the court's next hearing on August 21.
