My Personal Views on Spiritual Compatibility in Relationships and Marriage
People often ask why I am still unmarried in my 30s. From my relationships, I have come to believe that compatibility goes beyond attraction, money and physical appearance. I once dated someone during university, and I felt my life and business efforts improved while we were together. In contrast, I also had casual encounters that I associated with setbacks and misfortune. These experiences made me pay more attention to the emotional and spiritual impact relationships can have on both partners. In my view, some partners bring peace, confidence and progress, while others may come with unresolved personal, family or emotional burdens. I believe both men and women should look beyond beauty, wealth and status when choosing a partner. These are personal experiences and beliefs, not universal rules. I think people should take time to assess character, values, emotional health and the overall effect a relationship has on their lives.
