Actress Stella Damasus says she, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Genevieve Nnaji were once regarded as Nollywood’s “Big Three.” Speaking in an interview, Damasus said the actresses focused on being authentic rather than copying others or chasing fame. She recalled that fan comparisons pushed them to keep improving, as none of them wanted to be seen as the weakest. Her comments have sparked debate online, with some viewers arguing that Rita Dominic and other leading actresses of that era should also be included in any discussion of Nollywood’s biggest stars.
