Kevin Gates Ordered to Share Music Catalogue Sale Proceeds With Estranged Wife

A court has ordered rapper Kevin Gates to place proceeds from the sale of his music catalogue into a managed account as part of his divorce case with estranged wife Dreka Gates. The order allocates $929,341.50 to Dreka for child and spousal support, alongside a separate $150,000 payment. Kevin is set to receive $538,798 upfront and monthly payments of $225,000 starting in October. The arrangement also sets aside funds for legal, accounting and mediation fees. The couple’s divorce has been contentious, with Kevin accusing Dreka of taking money during their marriage, an allegation her lawyer described as false. Dreka has also alleged that he stopped supporting her and their children in 2021.
